Rod White's Gold Medal Kicking Bear Event
Rod White is a young Christian man who has a passion for archery and dedicates himself to teaching people, especially kids, about the sport he loves so much. Rod won a Gold Medal at the 1996 Olympics and since then has been on a quest to get others involved in archery and is currently on the Pro-Staffs of several archery-related companies.
Rod is married and he and his wife Maria have two children, Cole and Breanna. Their home town is Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Rod attended his first Kicking Bear event in 2005 in Fisher, IL. We all had an absolute blast! Rod found out the true meaning of what Kicking Bear is all about at this Illinois event and has since decided to start a Chapter in Iowa. Rod has teamed up with his friend, Mike Lance, to host this event in Iowa. Mike owns his own business and has a passion for the outdoors and working with kids. You may be able to ask Rod to tell you about his Gold Medal and what it really took for him to be a part of the U.S. Olympic Team…and what was his true ultimate goal in archery?
